Designing & Leveraging Ayima’s SEO Community Tools

The problem

Taking stock of Ayima’s community tools and exploring new ways to leverage them for client acquisition while also aiming to attract new talent, as skilled SEOs were hard to come by.

The solution

We upgraded pulse to a new design with new advanced features that sat behind a free account enabling us to target high value clients. Redirect path and Page Insights had simple display banners that rotated based on location of the end user.

What is Pulse

Ayima Pulse is a keyword tool that tracks over 50,000 non-brand Google keywords across ten sectors, analysing ranking changes over 30 days. It offers filters for desktop, mobile, and location-based results, providing consistent benchmarks.

Functionality to target prospective clients

Pulse was well received and generating good traffic, so I was tasked with seeing if there was a way we could use it for new business. I conducted a survey on the current version and engaged in discussions with Ayima’s SEO consultants.

A list of new features was created, designed, and tested. One key addition from a business perspective was the introduction of a free account, with advanced features available to account holders. This allowed us to send product updates and ultimately cross-sell our consultancy services.

Our most notable lead that converted into a client was Arcadia.

Tapping into a user-base of over 300,000

With Redirect Path and Page Insights we were under strict Google guidelines, our solution was to create banners that displayed key agency messages based on location. UK could be displaying a banner promoting our conference while North America a banner that advertise new SEO roles.
